In “Objects of Legacy,” Jagdish Sutar merges Rajasthan’s artisanal heritage with modern design, drawing inspiration from Milan. This collection showcases traditional craftsmanship and textile techniques, reflecting Rajasthan’s historic step-wells (Bawris) in collaboration with skilled Suthar karigars.
Their charpai features distinctive angled legs and intricate Bawri weaving patterns on the seating, showcasing remarkable craftsmanship. The natural teak wood contrasts beautifully with cotton, creating visual interest through material and color. The sharp silhouettes and soft curves transform this simple piece into a captivating focal point for any living space.
