Clarion call from Rajasthan governor to preserve cultural heritage
Realising the potential of India’s soft power the governor of Rajasthan called for working towards transcending the boundaries in art and cultural to preserve splendid heritage of the state. Chairing a virtual meeting joined by the governing and executive body of West Zone Cultural Centre Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra proposed to work in a phased manner particularly to protect tribal arts so that youth and children can establish a connection with inherent culture and increase their participation in cultural activities. He laid the emphasis on transcendancing the geographical boundaries by providing a feasible platform in art and cultural disciplines for the future generations. He also exhorted the sponsors in organising the packages and making schemes backed by actions to make the centre financially self-sufficient following the spirit of “Ek Bharat, Shrestha Bharat”. The meeting was joined by Art and Culture Minister of Rajasthan BD Kalla, West Zone Cultural Centre Director Kiran Soni Gupta and Goa”s Art and Culture Minister Govind Gaude and other persons associated with the field.
