Crafting Life-Size Elephant Sculptures from Invasive Shrubs Lantana

In an innovative response to Lantana camara, an invasive weed, disrupting ecosystems and threatening native plants and animals, South Indian organizations, including Shola Trust South Indian organizations, including Shola Trust has consigned to craft about 100 elephant sculptures by skilled artisans into lifelike representations which allos symbolize the beauty of wildlife 

Explore 100 life-size sculptures of Indian elephants traveling across the U.S. with The Great Elephant Migration exhibition. Crafted by The Coexistence Collective and supported by Shola Trust, these artworks not only showcase artistic excellence but also raise awareness about conservation efforts in urban wildlife habitats.

South Indian organizations, including Shola Trust  have been creatively repurposing it into furniture, decor, and sculptures, offering a sustainable solution to mitigate its environmental impact.

Beyond their aesthetic appeal, these sculptures convey a message of conservation and creativity.
