Originating from the Mithila region of Bihar and Nepal, this traditional art form has fascinated artists and scholars worldwide. The book, edited by Binita Mallik, Dr. Minu Agarwal, and Dr. Laura Zizka, with project management by Dr. Prashant Das, serves as a comprehensive resource for understanding the history, techniques, symbolism, and contemporary significance of Mithila Art.

This scholarly work, initiated in Switzerland in 2018 and enriched by contributions from experts across the globe, is visually brought to life by the DesignFlyover team from Mumbai, led by Shreya Sarda.
