MSME Ministry launched Innovative Scheme amalgamating Incubation, Design and IPR skills
“MSME Innovation” Scheme launched at Vigyan Bhawan will facilitate component of Incubation, Design and IPR knowledge to various institutions involved in creating products of distinctive value.
The project was launched Union on 10th March, 2022 at Vigyan Bhawan along with MSME IDEA HACKATHON 2022 by Hon’ble Union Minister MSME Narayan Rane in the presence of Minister of state and Secretary MSME and other officials.
In his keynote address during the launch of MSME Innovation Scheme, B.B Swain, Secretary MSME said that it will act as a hub for innovation activities facilitating and guiding development of ideas into viable business proposition which benefits society directly.
During the launch of “MSME Innovation” Scheme, various institutions from different parts of the country were invited to showcase their products which they have created with the help of MSME incubation centers.
The token of appreciation was given by union minister to all the team leaders who came from various institutes from different parts of the country to showcase their products.
According to Minister of State, “MSME Innovation Scheme aims to promote and support untapped creativity of MSME sector & to promote adoption of latest technology in MSMEs that seek the validation of their ideas at the proof-of-concept level.”
“The objective of Design Sub-Scheme of MSME Innovation Scheme is to bring Indian manufacturing sector and Design expertise on to a common platform. It aims to provide expert advice and cost-effective solution on real time design problems for new product development.”
“Whereas the IPR Scheme, a sub scheme of “MSME Innovation” Scheme is to improve the IP culture in India with a view to enhance the awareness of Intellectual Property Rights amongst the MSMEs and to encourage creative intellectual endeavor in Indian economy,” he adds.
