Priti Warke’s Thane bungalow features a rich Indian aesthetic with intricate, bespoke motifs. TaP Design Inc, led by Iesha Parekh Shellugar and Sneha Talati, delivered a sophisticated, luxurious take on traditional design.
In this Mumbai home, art is integrated into expansive surfaces like walls and cabinetry, blending modern design with traditional elements. Iesha and Sneha showcase these artistic details through intricate carvings on the main door and steel frames coated to resemble antique brass. The foyer features an elegant inlay of iridescent shell and abalone, creating a striking floor design.
In this Thane home, Pattachitra and Kalamkari murals greet you, with Smita Moksh’s *Vasant* panel and Nimrat Narang’s botanical art enhancing the space. Lime plaster walls, mother-of-pearl inlaid floors, and a pink-and-gold lotus chandelier create a dramatic effect, complemented by recycled saree carpets and a Vinita Chaitanya elephant rug.
