‘Persian Durbar’ serves a Spread worthy of Royalty

Started in 1978 with the vision to relive the experience of vintage dining without compromising the tase, the Mumbai based heritage style restaurant has many outlets across the city and all are imbued with Indo-Persian culture of encapsulates philosophy of design acquired through many years of travel 17th and 18th-century Europe meet hundreds of years of Indian Persians and Byzantine sophistication.

The interior is a modern replica of an authentic Persian restaurant,  with an open kitchen and scrumptious mugal viands on display. Traditional architectural elements are the inspiration for the interior design. Natural tones and clean lines are the main design elements. 

Finishes include wall panels adorned with the strokes of Indian miniature and Persian Calligraphy murals done sophisticatedly by artist. Doors shimmer with mosaic stained glass work and furniture will make one feel the leisure of Indian embroidered textiles.

Architecture wise it has a solid oak flooring with white mosaic tile trims, copper, bronze, and leather in muted colours, creating a minimal yet sophisticated space.

Even if one is not in the mood for luxury dining, Persian Darbar is certainly the place to be which can pass a Royal art Museum. One can visit Andheri outlet for some magnificent experience.
