Politician Priya Dutt Roncon recently shared a picture of stunning art work done by the Guide actress and a fantastic artist Waheeda Rehaman on social media.
The idea of “old-age art” is perennially fascinating. Creative artists who continue to work late in life so often seem to undergo a sea change: which brings a new intensity, and inspiration of living a purposeful life for youngsters.
Sharing Waheeda Rehman’s artwork, Priya Dutt says, “She fills the (art) class with positive energy’, she is truly an inspiration to all of us, it is so wonderful to see her so dedicated and so full of life.”
Priya Dutt shared some pictures of the yesteryear actor on Instagram in which she can be seen giving finishing touches to a canvas that shows blue parrots perched atop a tree. In the caption, she mentioned how the Guide actor has been actively honing her art skills.
She is indeed a paragan of virtupus life. At 84, she is still active and living life to the fullest. “God bless her to have continued happiness,” said one user, while another wrote, “No words for her just a big as she an art academy.”
Like Waheeda, many other actors, like Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha, have also time and again expressed themselves on the canvas. For some engaging in art is “therapeutic” and helps them switch off from the world and enjoy the present moment.
