Reimagining the toy story of India: DPIIT organised a National Workshop for Toys with participation from various stakeholders
Shri Anil Agrawal, Joint Secretary, DPIIT during the Workshop on National Action Plan for Toys reiterated that the workshop in consultation with States, central & industry bodies will be instrumental in sharing best practices & a great step forward in the promotion of indigenous Toy Industry.
During the workshop, States presented the activities being undertaken, plan of action, and best practices adopted to make #NewIndia the next global hub for manufacturing & export of toys.
Andhra Pradesh is developing Dedicated Parks under M- Park Policy 2018 – 23 and has already identified 114 Clusters under SFURTI & MSE CDP for boosting the industrial ecosystem for Indian toys

Gujarat Government has proposed 5 locations for setting up of Toy Manufacturing Clusters, all of which have contiguous land parcels available, with necessary plug and play infrastructure.
Karnataka has already developed Koppal as India’s first toy manufacturing cluster which is well connected to major ports and cities; has integrated capabilities including testing facilities, & training centres; state-of-the-art built to suit facilities.
