Traditional delicacies on public display : Upcoming “Hunar Haats” at Lucknow and Rampur to bring forward craftsmen from 27 states and union territories

Providing a commercial platform for artisans and craftisans across the country to showcase and sell their locally produced handcrafted goods two editions of Hunar Haats will be organised at Numaish Ground in Rampur, Uttar Pradesh, from December 18 to 27, and Shilp Gram at Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh from January 23 to 31.

The haats will also put together delicacies from various states on public display.They have provided employment and employment opportunities to more than five lakh Indian artisans, craftsmen, culinary experts and other people associated with them in the last six years.

According to the Union Minister of Minority Affairs, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, “people of the country and abroad will be able to buy ‘Hunar Haat’ products digitally at online platform http://hunarhaat.org.”

State govt has directed the authorities to look after all necessary COVID-19 guidelines and steps such as sanitisation, mask, hygiene, cleanliness to be followed strictly at the ‘Hunar Haats’.

In the coming days Hunar Haat’ will be organised across the length and breadth of India such as in Jaipur, Chandigarh, Indore, Mumbai, Hyderabad, India Gate-New Delhi, Ranchi, Kota to name a few among many other places.
