World’s oldest toy retailer ‘Hamleys’ creates Sheesh Mahal inspired ‘Mirror Maze’ at some stores
Exploring the difference between how children and adults approach a space, Hamleys has installed a unique one-of-a-kind Mirror Maze outlet at DLF Mall, Noida and South City Mall, Kolkata which creates an illusion of a never-ending tunnel of rooms, all lit up in various neon colours.
Open to visitors of all ages, the interactive area made up of curved mirror walls patterned in bright neon and green graphics, one is bound to exclaim or laugh at every turn. Mind your head! Or, you might bang it into a mirror!
The minute you walk into the maze, you see arched mirrors all around, except one of them is an archway you can pass through. The hall of mirrors is confusing and exciting all at the same time, the bright lights reflecting off mirrors create a kaleidoscopic effect and an almost psychedelic experience.
As per Store Manager at Hamleys, South City Mall, Kolkata, the feedback has been great from everyone who has visited the maze. One can experience the delight of mirror illusion for a ticket price of Rs 150. They are hoping for more people to come and experience this.

Hamleys is indeed a wonderland on earth for children of all ages, but the store manager shared that the toys for the age group of three to 10 are most popular. Bubble guns, tabletop foosball and Nerf guns are their most popular along with their AI powered educational toy Miko 3.
