There is a shift from ‘Why India’ to ‘Why not India’ in global narrative: PM at ASSOCHAM Foundation Week

Speaking at ASSOCHAM Foundation Week, PM asserts that global narrative is shifting from ‘why India’ to ‘why not India’ as Govt is disposed to bring flexibility in regulations and labour laws and has curbed red tapism in pursuance of its vision of Atma Nirbhar Bharat. He said that private organisations can multiply the efforts taken to bridge the gap between rural and urban divide.

“He also stressed on the ‘local to global’ approach and need of financial inclusion of women and youth in the GDP. “In order to support local products , the focus of the organisations should be on all the geopolitical regions of the country,” he said.

“World is heading towards another Industrial Revolution, hence must plan & act on achieving our nation-building targets,” he added.

PM presented the “Assocham Enterprise of the Century Award” to Ratan Tata, who received the award on behalf of the Tata Group. He also lauded the contribution of Tata Group in the development of the country under the able leadership of Ratan Tata.
